What Is the Maximum Loss?

K
Written by Key stone

The Maximum Loss represents the maximum amount your account is allowed to lose before it is considered to have breached the program rules.

This includes both:

  • Realized losses (closed trades)

  • Unrealized losses (floating/open positions)

For the Two Step Evaluation, the Maximum Loss is 9% of your initial account balance.

Example

If you purchase a $100,000 Two Step Evaluation, your account equity—including both realized and floating losses—must never fall below $91,000.

This rule applies at all times, including while trades remain open.

Exceeding the Maximum Loss limit will result in an immediate breach of your evaluation or funded account.

We strongly recommend monitoring your account equity regularly and applying sound risk management to remain within the program's loss limits.
